Well No. 3 Transmission Main. In General, the Project Consists of the Installation of a Water Transmission Main From the Village of Reedsville Well No. 3 Building on Industrial Park Drive to the Village of Reedsville Well No. 5 Building on Deerview Drive. The Work Includes but is Not Limited to Approximately 4090 Lf of Transmission Main, Water Main, and Associated Appurtenances, 350 Sy of Asphalt Pavement Roadway Restoration, Gravel Driveway Restoration, Erosion Control, Turf Restoration, Clearing and Grubbing, and Related Items. Alternate No. 1 Involves the Option to Install Sections of the Transmission Main via Open Trench Excavation in Lieu of Directional Drilling. A Single Prime Bid Will Be Received for the Work. Bid Security Bids Must Be Accompanied by Bid Security in the Amount of 5% of the Maximum Bid Amount. Bid and Bid Security May Not Be Withdrawn for a Period of 60 Days After the Bid Deadline. Bid Security Will Be Retained if the Bidder is Awarded the Work and Fails to Execute the Agreement and Furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds. Project Funding the Contract Awarded Under This Bid Advertisement Will Be Funded in Part by Financial Assistance From the Wisconsin Safe Drinking Water Loan Program and Will Be Subject to Regulations Contained in Wis. Adm. Code, S. Nr 166.12, and Appropriate State Statutes.
