The City reserves the right to increase or decrease the project quantities and acknowledges these additions/deletions may increase or decrease project quantities and Contractor compensation based on the unit prices bid. There will be no increase or decrease in unit prices associated with any addition/deletion in quantity. All work shall conform to the City of Topeka Technical Standard Specifications. NOTE: All concrete shall be bid as Pavement Class-B for sidewalks. Except, at the Contractor's option and at no additional costs to the owner, Pavement Class-A concrete or Structure Class Concrete may be used in lieu of Pavement Class-B concrete. All work specified must be complete and ready for final acceptance/payment within 30 calendar days from issuance of the Start Work Order. Existing sidewalks, curb and gutter or pavement shall not be removed unless replacement will follow within 3 calendar days. Additional days for inclement weather may be granted at the discretion of the Project Engineer. The property owner and adjacent property owners must be given 48 hours notice prior to the start of construction.
