JIGGS Landing Boardwalk Repair Phase II SCOPE Successful Bidder (hereinafter in this Scope referred to as Contractor shall furnish all equipment, labor, materials, supplies, licensing, transportation, and other components necessary to provide Jiggs Landing Boardwalk Repair Services that will meet the requirements of the Agreement. 1.03 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS A. Work may take place Monday through Friday during daylight hours only. B. Trails and amenities in work areas will be closed at all times while work is taking place. C. Provide for the safety of visitors during ingress and egress to closed work areas and for those visitors who may disregard or disobey signage and enter work areas. D. Work areas shall be made free of hazards and safe for pedestrian traffic at the end of each work week (Friday) for reopening of trails over the weekend. E. If work areas cannot be reopened it must be adequately secured and marked using red "Danger" tape provided. F. Wherever possible, trails are to be reopened during Saturday and Sunday when work will not take place. G. Removal and proper disposal of all debris generated during this work will be the responsibility of the contracto o Railing Supports: Replace railing supports with PT wood 6"x 6" x 4' posts Metal grab bar on railing can be re-attached to the new railing with stainless hardware. o Remove and replace all toe kicks with composite lumber from WearDeck 2"x 4" and secure with stainless hardware. Toe kicks should be 2 boards stacked andTask 2: Boat Dock (approx. 145 x 9 ft.) o Remove and replace all deck boards with composite lumber from WearDeck 2"x 6" and secure with stainless hardware. o No toe kick. C. Task 3: Boardwalk to Kayak Launch (approx. 20 x 5 ft.) o Remove and replace all deck boards with composite lumber from WearDeck 2"x 6" and secure with stainless hardware. o No toe kick. D. Task 4: Boardwalk to Boat Ramp Dock (approx. 65 x 8 ft.) o Remove and replace all deck boards with composite lumber from WearDeck 2"x 6" and secure with stainless hardware. o No toe kick.
