Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Auburn, Kansas. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: The project includes the construction of a new 12'x15' exterior ADA CMU block bathroom with metal room matching the newly constructed exercise pavilion. The contractor shall provide all permits, equipment, labor, parts, and appurtenances necessary to construct the new bathroom complete and in working order. The project shall also include a new 5' wide ADA compliant sidewalk, ADA ramp to the Civic center parking area, and restriping of the parking area to create 2 new ADA van-accessible handicap stalls. The contractor shall also be responsible for all necessary utility connections and terminations to the facility, including co-ordination with all utility companies, and the City Superintendent. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer in writing. Contact information and submittal procedures for such questions are as follows: Pat Cox Project Manager Pat.Cox@bgcons.com The City Engineer will check and review all bids and make recommendations to the Auburn City council for the contract award, that night at 7:00 pm.
