Scope of Work: Creation of office suites within two shell spaces of the existing City Hall, there are main utilities already supplying the space, but additional runs are required. On the second floor there will be offices, a breakroom, and a conference room. There is a small renovation to the IT Department which is located next to the shell space. On the first floor there will be offices, a breakroom, a small and large conference room, a lobby, a large storage space and a renovation of the existing customer service area. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted in writing to John Crawford at jcrawford@creech-design.com. Deadline for questions is 2:00 PM local time on July 5th, 2024. Questions will be addressed via Addenda no later than 4 days prior to bid date. A deposit of cash, cashiers check or certified check on some bank or trust company insured by the Federal Deposit insurance Company, or a bid bond executed by corporate surety licensed under the laws of North Carolina to execute such bonds in the amount of 5% of the bid must accompany each bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bid The Work consists of approximately 10,500 SF of interior renovation space. The project consists of the renovation of two shell spaces of the existing City Hall into office Suites, there are main utilities already supplying the space, but additional runs are required. On the second floor there will be offices, a breakroom, and a conference room. There is a small renovation to the IT Department which is located next to the shell space. The Work shall be completed in a single phase. The Work includes coordinating with the IT Department for access, security, and shutdowns.
