Demolition and site work for a mixed-use development in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for the demolition of a 24,762-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
Demolition of Former Dewey School Site, 3500 North Lindsay Avenue Estimated Amount: $120,000.00 Q & A deadline: 07/02/2024 at 5:00 PM CT submit questions in writing through the electronic bidding system Project Scope: Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and insurance necessary to complete subject work, in accordance with the following: 1. Demolition of the vacant, 2-story school building, which is approximately 24,762 square feet. 2. Remove its stem walls, steps, slabs/foundations. 3. Remove driveways and all pavement and debris. 4. Backfill and compact select fill in the void left from removal of basement. 5. Grade the lot to level and provide Bermuda sod to cover the disturbed areas. 6. Haul all debris to licensed landfill (except those items listed for storage below). 7. Include all landfill fees, a sewer cap, a demolition permit and NESHAP filing with the OK Department of Environmental Quality. The following items shall be carefully dismantled and placed in a storage container, provided by the City, for potential future use. See reference images below. 1. "Dewey" Entryway stone marquee 2. 1000 square feet of brick facade 3. Handrails on interior stairways 4. 10-20 of the large wooden doors with hardware (clear of spray paint) 5. Large exterior awnings 6. 240 square feet of wood floors
