Move Service Companies for moving services within the West Contra Costa Unified School District. The selected firm will be contracted to provide comprehensive, professional move services as required. District has provided 1500 boxes to the facility for classroom packing performed by District. Furniture in the classrooms will also be moved to portable classrooms on campus or otherwise removed from the rooms. Move services to include, but not limited to, all packed boxes and labeled furniture as noted on room schedule. Move services will include moving all boxes and noted furniture from Building 100 and Building 200 to the portable buildings on-site. All packed boxes and furniture will be labeled with the new portable room number. Copiers and Promethean Learning Boards to be moved by the District. Computers, phones and other related equipment will be disconnected and re-connected by District. These items will be boxed for the move contractor to move. Questions regarding this RFQ/RFP must be received in writing and directed to the District, at facilities procurement@wccusd.net, on or before Wednesday June 26, 2024. The District may respond to questions presented via addenda to this RFQ/RFP. Firms that intend to submit a Proposal must be insured and appropriately licensed. Move is scheduled for Monday, July 22, 2024 thru Friday, July 26, 2024. Evaluation of Proposals: RFPs will be reviewed, and a determination will be made based upon the submitted proposals. The District's decision on Qualification will be based on the evaluation of several factors including, but not limited to the following: 1. Approach to providing services - 15% 2. Experience of firm and proposed personnel - 20% 3. Suitability for project - 5% 4. Cost of services-60% Mandatory requirements include compliance to the California Labor Code with regards to Prevailing Wage Requirements and the District's Insurance Requirements.
