Pre Bid Conference(N/A) Contractor shall provide California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (CAL FIRE) Water Testing services. Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, tools, permits, taxes, transportation, and fees to provide certified water quality testing for CAL FIRE Devil's Garden Fire Center. Materials, equipment, and labor shall include, but are not limited to, all sample bottles, labels, "chain of custody" paperwork, ice chests, ice packs, and reporting analytical results to the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) Division of Drinking Water (DDW). As required by Executive Order S-02-06, the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection is committed to meeting the State's 25 percent (25%) Small Business (SB) participation goal. Certified SBs, Micro Businesses (MB), and contractors willing to commit to subcontracting a minimum of 25 percent (25%) of their net bid price to certified SBs or MBs (if applicable), are encouraged to submit bids. Potential Bidders may submit written questions regarding the bid by 05:00 p.m., June 25, 2024. All questions should be emailed in writing to Christopher.Cabanes@fire.ca.gov NO QUESTIONS will be entertained after June 25, 2024. This Agreement will commence on August 01, 2024 (estimated) or upon approval by CAL FIRE, whichever is later, and no work shall begin before that time. This Agreement is of no effect unless approved by CAL FIRE. Contractor shall not receive payment for work performed prior to approval of the Agreement and before receipt of notice to proceed by CAL FIRE Project Representative. This Agreement shall expire on July 31, 2027 (estimated). The services shall be provided during normal working hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., except State holidays. The parties may amend this Agreement as permitted by law.
