Reference Number 0000355919 The Project generally consists of the following work: The project site is located along Anderson Way in the Village of Pawling, NY. The work for the bid will include the installation of approximately 1,100 linear feet of 8" diameter water mains, valves, individual water service connections, fire hydrants and all appurtenances. The work for the bid will also include the connection to an existing water main on West Main Street. This is an CDBG funded project and the successful contractor will need to comply with all CDBG program requirements. Work shall be determined to be satisfactorily completed when in compliance with the plans and technical specifications. This project will be awarded as one (1) single prime contract. The bidding and contract documents for this Project will be on USB flash drive (FD) only. FDs containing copies of the bidding and contract documents may be obtained from the Village Clerk at no charge for pick up. If a USB FD is requested to be mailed, a $25.00, non-refundable payment must be provided to cover shipping and handling. Mail orders must include a cover letter specifically indicating which bid documents are being requested. Checks for the Contract Documents shall be made payable to "Village of Pawling" Bids will be received on a lump sum basis with unit prices and alternates, if included on the Bid Form. The Work shall be substantially completed within three (3) months of the Notice to Proceed. Bids should not include sales and compensating use taxes on materials incorporated into the work. Bid security in the amount of 5% of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. *There will not be a pre-bid walkthrough for the project, however Bidders are encouraged view the site prior to submitting a bid. *The Village of Pawling as Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bid received, or to reject any Bid without explanation.
