A. Location and Description of Work 1. The site is located in the City of Conroe, Texas 2. The summary of the Work as described in this Section is an overall summary of responsibilities of the CONTRACTOR and his relation to the OWNER. It does not supersede specific requirements of other Contract Documents. 3. The Work generally consists of the following: Provide all material, labor, and other appurtenances for clearing, grubbing, mass grading, and detention improvements for Clopton Farms Phase 2. Clopton Farms Phase 2 - Clearing and Grubbing, Mass Grading, and Detention Improvements Conroe, Texas Scope of Work of the Contract includes the following: Clearing, Grubbing, Mass Grading and Detention Improvements for 184 lots on 55.99 acres within Clopton Farms Phase 2. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or bidding process except time of submitting a Bid. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount Bid, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract and execute the Bonds on the forms provided, and also provide the required insurance certificates within seven (7) days after the date Contract Documents are received by the Contractor.
