Saving Project...

Site work and paving for a civil project in Caldwell, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work as follows: 1. Reconstruction of approximately 3,000 linear feet of existing street pavement with concrete curb and gutters. 2. Construct new stormwater sewer system along existing City streets. A bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each Bid. A certifi ed check or bank draft payable to the City of Caldwell, or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the bid bond. The City of Caldwell, reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informalities in the Bidding. Bids may be held by City of Caldwell, for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the Bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the Bids and investigating the bidder's qualifi cations prior to the Contract Award. Bidder agrees that the Work will be substantially complete and will be completed and ready for final payment within 180 calendar days for the base bid plus 60 calendar days for the additive alternative bid thereafter the date when the Contract Time commences to run as provided in Paragraph 32 of the General Conditions.
