Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hempstead, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of September 26, 2024, project was awarded toROADWORK AHEAD. INC but awarded amount is not available. Reconstruction of approximately 2000 linear feet of roadway. Items include: New concrete curbing, sidewalk, ramps and driveway aprons. Full depth pavement reconstruction. New asphalt pavement. In-kind restoration of disturbed utility strip areas within the Town right of way. The Engineer's Estimate is $500,000. Contract term: 90 Calendar Days Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Town of Hempstead for not less than five percent (5%) of the estimated amount of the bid. The Town of Hempstead reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
