Garage Door Maintenance Contract. The Village reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality therein. The Village will not award a contract to any bidder who cannot prove to the satisfaction of the Board of Trustees of the Village that he has had sufficient experience in this type of construction and is financially able and organized to successfully carry out the work covered by the Plans and Specifications in the required time. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond, on forms provided herein, in the sum of not less than 5% of the amount of the bid, made payable to the Incorporated Village of Garden City, as security. Location: Garden City, NY 11530. Contract term: 1 Year. Village as liquidated damages for the Principal's failure to meet such requirements a sum equal to the amount that would have been required by a certified check if the same were delivered in accordance with the provisions of the contract documents and specifications herein stated.
