Renovation of a mixed-use development in Garner, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.

The Town is seeking proposals from qualified Contractors to replace flooring at the Public Works Buildings A & B and the 912 Police Building. The successful Contractor will be responsible for removing and disposing of existing flooring and any cove base, sub floor/structural repairs and installation of new flooring. The proper and commercial grade flooring shall be supplied by the Contractor for a variety of floor surfaces. The Contractor must leave the facility in clean, safe, and satisfactory condition daily. This 2024 Flooring Replacement Project will be at the following locations: Public Works Buildings A & B: 610 Rand Mill Road, Garner, NC 27529 912 Police Building: 912 7th Avenue, Garner, NC 275629 Flooring replacement Flooring throughout the facility to include: All current carpeted offices & meeting spaces To be replaced with commercial grade carpet squares. All hallways See attachments. All current VCT tile areas To be priced to be replaced with LVT. Current tiled restrooms To be replaced with a commercial grade large tile squares or rectangular squares. Cove Base Existing cove base throughout to be replaced with new commercial grade cove base. Floor Transitions All transitions to be replaced and included with pricing. Exclusions: The following areas are not included in this project/RFP: Public Works Building A. Exterior storage room, Warehouse, and Front entry area. Public Works Building B. Fleet Garage concrete floor. 912 Police Building Any existing concrete and tile floor areas such as Mechanical / Storage rooms, Janitorial room, Restrooms / Locker rooms, Kitchen, Break area, Lobby areas.
