The Salt Lake City Department of Public Utilities (SLCDPU) is requesting Proposals from qualified professional consultants to perform a comprehensive water system feasibility study for three separate water systems that service six recreation sites in Big Cottonwood Canyon, located in the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest Salt Lake Ranger District (SLRD). A more detailed description of these items may be found in the RFP. In summary, the Proposal's s package should address the following factors: 1) Name of firm and location of Utah office, 2) List of individuals to be involved in the project, their qualification, experience, and commitments, 3) The firm's qualifications and experience with other projects similar in size and scope to the requested services, 4) Ability to be responsive and available to SLCDPU and City Engineering staff, 5) Understanding of the potential Scope of Work, 6) Capacity of the firm to accomplish the work within the required time, and 7) Overall quality of the RFP response. The U3P site will accept a wide variety of document types, such as Word, Excel, and PDF attachments, but not all. You MAY NOT submit embedded documents (zip files), movies, WMP and MP3 files, password-protected files, etc. Such actions may cause the proposal to be deemed non-responsive. The Proposals will be analyzed and reviewed by an internal selection committee at SLCDPU.
