Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Summerside, Prince Edward Island. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Scope of Work: 1. Section 1; spot patch and crack seal maintenance. Spot patching of the areas indicated in the attached drawing by milling 50mm and then repaving 50 mm, using Type B hot mix asphalt, and paint lines as per the attached drawing. 2. Sections 2 and 4; remove full asphalt thickness, compact and proof roll the surface, repair any soft areas, pave 60 mm lift of type A Base, pave 40 mm of type B Seal hot-mix asphalt, and paint lines as per the attached drawing. 3. A Bid Bond equal to at least ten percent (10%) of the Tender amount and a Letter of Surety from a bonding company guaranteeing to supply a Performance Bond in the amount of fifty percent (50%) of the total contract amount.
