Scope of Work: HWY 58 - BISHOP SITE INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS involves improvements to the intersection of Hwy 58 at the economic development site known as the Bishop Site, currently under construction. The primary intersection improvements are situated at the existing Hwy 58 crossover approximately 950 feet west of Hayes Mill Road and 1,200 feet east of Ridge Road. Improvements to include turn lane & crossover improvements along Hwy 58 at the Bishop Site, turn lane improvements along Hwy 58 at Route 608 (Ridge Road), and pavement resurfacing (mill & overlay) of Hwy 58 between these locations. The total scope of work involves improvements along approximately 2,800 linear feet of roadway in the area of Hwy 58 at the Bishop Site. Construction consists of pavement demolition, widening, resurfacing and/or replacement as required to improve and reconfigure the subject intersection(s) and associated turn lanes. Construction also includes improvements to overall drainage and ditches, clearing, grading, asphalt paving, guardrail, erosion & sediment control, signage, pavement markings, and other items necessary for the completion of the work. The project is funded and administered by Mecklenburg County. Electronic Documents: Project documents (Invitation for Bids, Project Manuals, Drawings, and any other applicable documents) provided electronically are solely for use by the Bidder for the convenience of preparing a bid response for the project. Electronic documents shall not be altered and shall not be reproduced for any purpose other than the express purpose stated above. Any conclusion or information obtained or derived from such electronic files will be at the Bidder's risk. If there is a discrepancy between the electronic files and the hard copies on file with the County, the hard copies govern.
