BID ITEM DESCRIPTION Concrete Pavement Repair - Large Area (Type Opw 4000) Concrete Pavement Repair - Small Area (Type Opw 4000) Repair Curb and Gutter Unsuitable Subgrade Material Sodding Approximate Quantity 165 SY 195 SY 10 LF 10 CY 30 SY The amount of the Engineer's estimate of the construction costs of said improvements (exclusive of engineering, legal, advertising and miscellaneous costs) is $31,450.00. Upon approval, the Owner will issue payment to the Contractor in the amount of 90% of the contracted value of the completed work as of the end of the preceding month, as recommended by the Engineer. Payment for the balance retained will be issued by the Owner upon completion of the work and approval thereof by the Owner's Engineer, City or Governmental approval when necessary, and acceptance by the Owner. Each bid shall be accompanied, in a separate sealed envelope, by a certified or bank check drawn on a bank whose deposits are insured by the F.D.I.C. or an acceptable bid bond in the amount of $1,575.00 and shall be payable without condition to SANITARY & IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 236 OF SARPY COUNTY, NEBRASKA as a guarantee that the bidder, if successful, will execute the contract and provide an acceptable Contract Bond from an approved surety in the amount of 100 percent of the contract arice. No bidder may withdraw his Bid for a period of THIRTY (30) days after the date set for the opening of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities.
