Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Roswell, New Mexico. Completed plans call for site work for a religious / funeral development; for paving for a religious / funeral development; road / highway; road / highway; and water / sewer project.

**As of November 11, 2024 this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The City of Roswell is seeking proposals from qualified construction companies for the construction of a new columbarium plaza at the South Park Cemetery. The scope of work shall consist of, but not be limited to, demolition, grading, drywell installation and subsurface drainage, concrete paving, construction of double-sided columbarium walls, concrete seat walls, installation of trees and other landscaping, and installation of irrigation system. A bid security or bond shall be required of Offerors for construction contracts in excess of twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000). Bid security or bond in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount bid shall be a bond provided by a surety company authorized to do business in the state of New Mexico, or equivalent in cash. This will be required upon awarded project. For each and every project accepted and undertaken by Contractor, Contractor shall furnish to the City a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the total amount of the project price, which Bond shall be executed by Contractor as principal, with at least one Corporate Surety Company authorized to do business in the State of New Mexico, as Surety conditioned for the faithful completion of the work in strict conformity with the plans and specifications, pricing and timeline set forth in the Award Notice. he parties acknowledge and agree that the failure of Contractor to adhere to project timelines, resulting in delay to substantial completion of a project, will cause damages to the City, including, without limitation, additional engineering and inspection expenses, which are significant but difficult to quantify. In the event that Substantial Completion of an awarded contract is delayed beyond project timelines established by the City, as a result of any failure of Contractor, Contractor shall pay to City $150.00 per each day Substantial Completion is delayed beyond established project timelines. The Parties agree that sums payable in this Paragraph constitute liquidated damages and not penalties and are in addition to all other rights of the City, under this Agreement or as otherwise provided by law.
