The Project includes the construction of approximately 1,286 linear feet of wood boardwalk east of Butternut Creek and north of Genesee Street in the Town of Dewitt, Onondaga County, New York. Question Deadline 07/04/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. It is the responsibility of each bidder to check the Public online website to ensure that all addenda have been received and to download each addendum. Large addenda and addenda containing full sized drawings will be sent in hard copy format via a U.S. Mail or a nationally recognized overnight carrier. The Owner is exempt from the payment of sales and compensating use taxes of the State of New York and of cities and counties on all materials, equipment and supplies sold to the Owner pursuant to this Contract. Also exempt from such taxes are purchases by the Contractor and his Subcontractors of materials, equipment and supplies to be sold to the Owner pursuant to this Contract, including tangible personal property to be incorporated in any structure, building or other real property forming part of the Project. These taxes are not to be included in the Bid. Bidder has the option to provide Avalon Document Services with Bidders UPS or online shipping account number to expedite the delivery of the documents. Each plan holder of record will be notified by an e-mail regarding each addenda issued for the project. E-mails will be from Avalon Document Services online It is the responsibility of each prospective bidder to submit an accurate e-mail address when requesting Bidding Documents. Town of Dewitt reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids, to re-advertise for new Bids or to waive any informality in connection with any Bid.
