Questions Due Date: Jul 10th 2024, 4:00 PM EDT The Borough reserves the right to waive any informality, or to reject any or all bids, or take such action as it may deem in the best interest of the Borough and as may be permitted by law Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates. The Project requires all prime contractors and subcontractors to pay all laborers and mechanics employed on the Project wages at rates not less than those prevailing on projects of a character similar in the locality; o Non-Discrimination This project consists of constructing traffic signal and pedestrian improvements Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids The successful bidder(s) will be required to furnish Performance and Labor and Material Bonds in one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the contract; a Maintenance Bond in the amount of twenty-five percent (25%) of the total contract price, as well as a Certificate of Insurance
