Ardmore Boulevard Storm Sewer Rehabilitation Project Bids must be submitted on the forms provided, and completed in strict accordance with the instructions provided. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, in the form of a Certified Check or Corporate Surety Bid Bond, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid Proposal made in the favor of the Borough of Wilkinsburg .Only documents obtained directly from the Engineer will be valid at bid opening. A Performance Bond, Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Maintenance Bond in the amounts specified within the Contract Documents will be required of the successful Bidder . Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the Provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442. The Prevailing Wage Scale is included in these Specifications. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the Provisions of the Public Works Employment Verification Act (PWEVA). Adherence to Instructions to Bidders is required. No Bid or any part thereof shall be withdrawn by Bidder for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the Bid Opening. The right is reserved by the Owner to reject any or all Bids or parts of bids and to waive technical defects in any Bid. Provide temporary services and facilities, as required for construction of this Contract. 2) Place all required notification to existing underground utilities, including PA One Call notifications. 4) Perform test hole excavations as directed. Conduct a preconstruction meeting with all underground utility owners at least two (2) weeks prior to construction. The meeting shall be arranged using the Pennsylvania One Call System Coordinate PA web portal 5) Install temporary Erosion and Sedimentation control devices. 6) Perform clearing and grubbing operations. 7) Perform survey stake-out of proposed storm sewers. 8) Perform spot repair at void location. 9) Backfill around structures and piping and compact. 10) Television and Clean existing storm piping. 11) Install spray concrete liner. 12) Install new subbase on a prepared subgrade for sidewalk. 13) Install new concrete sidewalks. 14) Install new concrete ADA ramps. 15) Perform Crosswalk Striping. 16) Restore vegetative surfaces, sidewalks, and curbing. 17) All other work, as required by the Construction Drawings or Technical Specifications
