Warren County seeks to construct a new 33,200-square-foot crime suppression headquarters. The development would be located on the south side of West Main Street behind the existing Warren County services garage. Municipal documents said the building would hold office and warehousing/storage space. More than 50 parking spots are sectioned for the site, most to be used for impounded vehicles. A crime suppression headquarters creates a place for a specialized law enforcement unit focused on proactive crime prevention. The unit typically targets street-level crime and high-crime areas. Extra Space Properties is seeking an expansion at 800 Cincinnati Ave. The company aims to get a replat to combine two existing plats to accommodate self-storage expansion on a 15-acre site. The company's submitted application proposes a 25,300-square-foot building. This adds to the existing 74,000 square feet of development already existing on the site. Founded in 1977, Extra Space Storage is the largest operator of self-storage facilities and the largest third-party self-storage management company. The company, based in Salt Lake City, holds over 4,000 locations across the country.
