The intent of this Project is to convert an existing Mailroom that is no longer being used, to Office Space occupied by Student Housing, in Lady Eaton Commons, on the West Shore Campus of Trent University. Suite: Lady Eaton Service Centre West 211 (& Mailroom). June 28, 2024 2:00pm Submission Deadline Project scope includes: - Removal of existing carpet tile flooring in the new office and existing service centre, bank of mail slots, light fixtures per drawings, bulletin board, metal cabinets, lockbox, corridor door assembly ( to be disposed of), existing entry door, card strike, etc, refer to drawing(s) and note below; - New door to service centre to have a steel frame to match existing door remaining into new office, hardware list contained in Project design documents herein for both doors; - All debris and removals to be removed from project site daily by Contractor, with site left clean and secure daily; - Construct new soundproof partition wall, prime and paint all areas Spaces, install new elements and finishes per the drawings; - Supply and install new stain grade service center door per drawings (see revised size below); - Supply and install new illumination, convenience outlets, and provisions for IT cabling, as shown; - New Door Hardware, both doors, to be provided by University, Contractor to install; - Supply and install new carpet tile Flooring, and sheet vinyl flooring per drawings; and - Fully coordinate all work, and ensure that newly refinished space is completed, and ready to Occupy per the Schedule.
