The Project includes the following Work: Construction of a 6 six-foot-wide paved pedestrian trail, meadow and riparian area plantings, installation of bench and ADA sitting areas, extension of an existing 76" x 48" elliptical reinforced concrete pipe and installation of a 12" SLCPP cross pipe and stormwater management control features at Bloomfield Park. Bid security in the form a Certified Check or Bid Bond shall be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted via online in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Telephone inquiries are unacceptable. Bidders must comply with all State antibid-rigging regulations pertaining to work associated with this project, and will be required to submit an executed non-collusion affidavit with the bid. Bidders should refer to provisions of federal and state statutes, rules and regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and preservation of public natural resources that affect the project, pursuant to Act No. 247 of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, approved October 26, 1972. This Project falls under The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania enacted Act 127 of 2012, known as the Public Works Employment Verification Act ('the Act') which requires all public work contractors and subcontractors to utilize the Federal Government's E-Verify system to ensure that all employees performing work on public work projects are authorized to work in the United States. All Bidders are required to submit a Public Works Employment Verification Form as a precondition for the Contract Award. The estimated cost for this project is greater than Twenty five thousand dollars ($25,000) and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act shall apply.
