Site work and paving for a civil project in Mason City, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project; road / highway; and for paving for a water / sewer project.
Division 1 deals with the Main Tile Repair and consists of construction of approximately 4,525 linear feet of trenched drain tile installation. Of the approximate 4,525 linear feet, 400 feet is 30" diameter RCP, 3,700 feet is 24" diameter RCP, 225 feet is 18" diameter RCP, and 200 feet is 8" HDPE drain tile. This also includes crushing approximately 4,525 linear feet of the existing tile in place. Connection of both existing private tile and district facilities to the repaired tile line, and any other miscellaneous items related thereto Est. Value: $ 415,300.00 Est. Value Notes: Div. 1 - $384,000 & Div. 2 - $31,300.00 Work on the Repair shall commence upon approval of the contract by the Trustees, and as stated in the Notice to Proceed. All work under the Contract must be substantially complete on or before April 15, 2025. Damages in the amount of $500.00 per day will be assessed for each day the work remains incomplete. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security, as defined in Section 468.35 of the Iowa Code in the amount equal to five percent of the total amount of the bid. The Drainage District Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
