Demolition, site work, paving, remodeling and addition to a mixed-use development in San Antonio, Texas. Completed plans call for the addition of a 2,500-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; for the demolition of a pre-engineered storage facility; for the remodel of a 3,000-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

The City of San Antonio (City), Public Works Department (PWD) is issuing a Request for Competitive Sealed Proposals (RFCSP) for qualified firms (Respondents) to provide remodeling and expansion to the existing tactical and firearms buildings. The renovated Tactical and Firearm Facility is an approximately 3,000 one story facility consisting of a classroom, offices, and general storage rooms. The building addition will be a metal structure with a standing seam metal roof and provide additional shading. Exterior cladding will consist of brick masonry to match the existing façade. The site includes a 2500 square foot Shoot House. Equipment for the Shoot House will be provided by a preferred manufacturer and installed by the contractor. The Shoot House will be covered by an open Pre-Engineered metal pavilion. Fenced, accessible walkways from the Tactical and Firearm Facility will be provided. The deadline to ask questions is 7/12/2024 4:00 PM CST. Construction Cost Estimate for Tactical and Firearm Building renovation: $3,600,000.00. Calendar Days: Respondent understands and agrees that this is a 450-calendar day contract. SCOPE OF WORK a. Unless otherwise noted on the equipment schedule, all mechanical equipment shall be mounted on vibration isolators to prevent the transmission of vibration and mechanically transmitted sound to the building structure. b. Vibration isolators shall be selected in accordance with weight distribution so as to produce reasonably uniform deflection. Deflections shall be as noted on the equipment isolator schedule noted here in. c. All vibration isolation devices, including steel bases/forms shall be designed and furnished by a single manufacturer or his qualified representative. Project no. 22142.A Gessner No.: 23-0234
