Description

Renovation of a fitness / recreation center in Fayette, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fitness / recreation center.

Install 8 package units at 4 separate buildings including demolition of all existing equipment (removed from gym ceiling and outdoor units). Pouring concrete pads to correct size for new equipment. Install equipment on new pad, ductwork on exterior wall of the building to be rectangular with duct mate connections insulated internally with R8 valve 2" liner. Make necessary penetration into building, complete trim, and seal of penetrations. Interior/Ductwork to be round spiral duct ran horizontal to adjacent wall supply diffuser to mount to the side of duct and angled towards the floor. The return grills at the Fayette County High School location is to be located at the same elevation as the supply duct penetration. The penetration at Fayette Elementary, Hubbertville Elementary, and Berry Elementary buildings will have return air located at the floor. These 3 sites to have gymnasium grade intake grilles to withstand abuse. The project shall be bid excluding taxes. Bids must be submitted on proposal form furnished by the Board of Education or copies therefore for each project. No bid may be withdrawn after scheduled closing for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if, in the Owners judgment, the best interests of the Owner will thereby be promoted.
