**As of November 5, 2025, this project has been completed. Waste Water Treatment Plant #3 - Plug Valve Repair Replacement of two (2) 6" plug drain valves at the re-aeration basins at WWTP3. Valves have been purchased and are on site. Additional parts such as DI restraints, 6" DI pipe and 6" repair sleeves may be required as pipework will need to be moved. Project Location and Description: City of Winter Haven #3 WWTP 4400 Pollard Road, Winter Haven, FL 33884 Description: Replace two (2) plug drain valves at the re-aeration basins at WWTP3. Valves have already been purchased and are on - site. The City of Winter Haven reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, to re-advertise, and to enter into a contract determined to be in its best interest. Previous performance as reported on Contractor Evaluation Form(s) on file may be the basis for a decision by the City to either reject a bid or not award a bid as determined by the City in its best interests. Work by Contractor Remove and replace existing plug drain valves and other components as necessary to accomplish this work. Provide all equipment and tools needed to replace the existing plug drain valves Coordinate with the City a time frame for performing the work when the equipment can be taken out of service. Furnish and install all new stainless steel bolts nuts and washers for each drain valve. Furnish and install new gaskets for each new drain valve. Provide all piping, couplings, and any other necessary components needed to replace the existing two (2) drain plug valves with new drain plug valves (already purchased and ready for install) that work as specified by the manufacturer with no leaks.
