Saving Project...

Renovation of an office development in North Vancouver, British Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a office development.

Interior fit-up. The new facility consists of approximately 165,000 square feet of leased space. ICBC envisions the space will comprise typical office workspaces, meeting spaces, a fitness centre, a Work Cafe and limited retail space (food & beverage service). The scope of work may also require services such as project management and multi-phased move coordination. TIMELINE: Negotiated Request for Proposals for architectural and/or interior design firms with in-house Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) accredited professionals, and LEED Gold certified project experience for the proejct has closed and a preferred proponent has yet to be identified. The selected firm will be expected to work under the direction of the Project Leader, along with ICBC's internal team and contractors on the interior design & fit-up of the new Head Office. A comprehensive review of ICBC's current facilities and workspace standards, market trends, and employee survey feedback will inform the workplace design. In addition to incorporating modern trends, ICBC also intends to re-use large portions of existing furniture and equipment in order to meet sustainability and financial objectives. Further update is early fall 2024,pending selection of a preferred proponent. Construction budget is unreleased.
