**As of September 09, 2024, the project has not yet been awarded. The anticipated date for award has not yet been determined. This project consists of installing a diesel-electric standby power system at the police substation in accordance with the project documents. This project will be partially funded by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and as such Bidders must consider the compliance requirements contained in the Federally-Funded Subaward and Grant Agreement, Agreement Number H0243, between the City of Dania Beach and the Florida Division of Emergency Management. All bid prices shall be guaranteed firm for a minimum of one hundred twenty (120) calendar days after the submission of the bid. No bidder may withdraw a bid within ninety (90) calendar days after the bid opening date. A certified check, cashier's check, bank officer's check, or bid bond for Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00), made payable to the City of Dania Beach shall accompany each proposal. A Pre-bid conference will not be held. The City Commission of the City of Dania Beach reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in a bid and to make an award in the best interests of the City, as Owner Question Deadline 07/15/2024 at 5:00 PM ET All questions requiring interpretation or clarification of the bidding documents shall be made in writing and shall be delivered to the City. Questions submitted after this time will not be addressed. The purpose of the Invitation to Bid is to establish between the City and the Contractor an agreement to perform the project work. The successful Bidder shall provide a Performance Bond for One Hundred Ten percent (110%) of the contract price made payable to the City of Dania Beach, Florida, within fourteen (14) days of notification of the award of the agreement. The Contractor shall achieve Substantial Completion not later than one hundred eighty (180) calendar days and Final Completion of the entire Work not later than two hundred ten (210) calendar days, each commencing with the date set forth in the NOTICE TO PROCEED as issued by the City, subject to adjustments of this Contract Time as provided in the Contract Documents.
