CDBG PROJECT NO. 23p-x-070-2-6360 Sections; 0495-1, 00300-2, 00560-1 Project location: The City of Sparta WWTF is located at 115 Johnny Britt Road, Sparta, Ga. 31087. Prospective bidders may contact Amanda Martin, WWTF Operator, at (706) 444- 5753 to arrange for a site visit. The Project consists of, but is not limited to the following major elements: Mobilization, set-up, and demobilization of solids removal and mechanical dewatering equipment. Removal and disposal of approximately 300 dry tons of accumulated solids from one pond at the City's WWTF. Removal and Replacement of approximately 93,600 sf of existing HDPE pond liner. Time of completion for all work associated with this project shall be one hundred twenty (120) consecutive calendar days from the date of a written "Notice to Proceed" from OWNER. Owner Requires a Bid Bond* or a Certified Cashier's Check in the Amount of Five Percent (5%) of the Total Bid to Be Enclosed With the Bid at the Time of Bid Opening. Cashier's Check Will Be Made Payable to City of Sparta. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Furnish Owner With Insurance, Workman's Compensation Insurance, and Performance and Payment Bonds* in the Amount of One-hundred Percent (100%) of the Total Bid.
