Plumbing Labor for UMD BACKGROUND This Request for Bid (RFB) is issued by Purchasing Services for the University of Minnesota, Department of Facilities Management on the Duluth Campus to provide plumbing and steamfitter labor services. The Facilities Management Department is responsible for maintenance of all academic areas of campus and the campus grounds. The plumbing and steamfitter labor and equipment services contracted as a result of this bid will be used as needed to supplement the skilled plumbers and steamfitters employed by the University to do a variety of plumbing labor work. The contractor shall provide transportation and journeyman skilled labor and equipment workers to do a variety of projects on the University of Minnesota Duluth campus and coordinate properties in the Duluth area as requested by the Department of Facilities Management. The majority of material will be supplied by UMD, but the contractor should be capable of supplying material if requested to do so. Question Cutoff Date: 7/2/2024 01:00 PM (ET). TIME PERIOD OF CONTRACT It is the University's intent to award a contract for a period of 1 year. The University shall have the option to extend the contract for 4 additional one-year terms to include the same requirements, specifications, terms and conditions. Renewals will be dependent on vendor performance and the University's annual spend.
