Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Manor, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a 27,174-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility; and for site work for a municipal facility.

New Central Command Station The Project will consist of the new construction of a single-story fire station and admin building, with a mezzanine level, approximately 27,174 SF, which will house fire department personnel by providing office, living, sleeping, work, and vehicle storage areas. The address of the project is 12701 HWY 290-E, Manor, Texas 78653. Full Scope of Work is described within the drawings and specifications, available by request from Martinez Architects, and made available from Associated General Contractors, Hill Construction/Dodge, and Virtual Builders Exchange. Question Deadline 07/12/2024 at 5:00 PM CT Queries about the project and the request for proposals should be addressed to: Mr. Ricardo Martinez Martinez Architects, LP 8911 N Capital of Texas Hwy, Ste. 4200 Austin, TX 78759 Phone: 281-800-1023 Email: ricardom@martinez-architects.com PROJECT DESCRIPTION Under consideration in this study is the Travis County ESD No. 12 central station, to be located off US Route 290, approximately 700 ft west of its intersection with George Bush Street in Manor, Texas. We understand the scope of the project consists of the design and construction of a single-story fire station building. The proposed building is expected to create relatively light structural loads to be carried by the foundation system. Floor systems consisting of slab-on-grade construction are expected to be preferred, provided expansive soil-related vertical movements will not cause structural performance concerns. Parking and drive areas associated with the development of the fire station are also planned. The pavement systems are expected to be comprised of either flexible (asphalt) and/or rigid (concrete) pavements. A permeable pavement system is also planned in the parking lot.
