Renovation of a residential development in Cleveland, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.

As of August 21, 2024, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for the award has not yet been established. Window Blinds Removal and Replacements at Heritage View Phase I & III Each bid must be accompanied by a properly executed Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashiers Check on a solvent bank, made payable to the Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority in an amount which shall not be less than 10% of the total amount of the bid. Bids shall be firm and cannot be withdrawn for a period of 120 calendar days, subsequent to the opening of bids, without the consent of CMHA. CMHA is a Political Subdivision of the State of Ohio and is exempt from all taxes. The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968, as amended. CMHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids received and waive any informality in bids received whenever such rejection or waiver is in the best interest of CMHA. The construction estimate range for this project is between $368,724.00 - $509,190.00 Description of Scope of Work: 1. The Properties will remain occupied during the entire Project. The contractor is required to Field Verify all window openings for the accurate size and quantity of new window blinds dimensions/measurements prior to purchase of new replacement Window Blinds. Owner shall not be responsible for inaccurate window blind measurements, and window blinds replace cost will be the responsibility of Contractor. 2. Contractor shall remove all existing window blinds and hardware and replace with A New Cordless Lift Light Filtering Cellular Window Blinds: The Basis of Design for this Project is: All contractors in Lieu of providing and installing vinyl horizontal window blinds for all existing Windows, CMHA Standard Window Treatment for Heritage View Phase I and III shall be: Brand Essential Tranquil Cordless Light Filtering Cellular Blinds, Color to be determined by Owner. Contractors shall use this CMHA Standard Window Blind for Bidding purposes and/ or submit an approved equal for CMHA review and acceptance. 3. All new window blinds installation procedures must follow the Manufacturers required/recommended methods for installation including all necessary and/or hardware, brackets and supports. 4. Any modifications and/or changes to the scope of work must have the prior written approval of the Owner. 5. It is the Contractors responsibility to Field Verify All total existing window blind sizes and quantities per address and if any discrepancies immediately bring to Owners attention. 6. It is also the sole responsibility of the contractor to initiate, maintain, and supervise all Daily Work activities during removal and installation of window blinds.
