Roof Shingle Replacement and Brick Tuck Pointing at 39 Pennsylvania Avenue Port Jervis, Ny 12771 Brick Tuck Pointing at 17 Minsink Avenue Port Jervis, Ny 12771 (Ny99-1) Capital Fund Program-2022 & 2023 Invitation to Bid Notice is Given Hereby That port Jervis Housing Authority here in after Called Owner Will Accept Bids for Roof Shingle Replacement & Brick Tuck Pointing 39 Pennsylvania Avenue Port Jervis, Ny (Ny99-1) Capital Fund Program-2022- 2023 and Brick Tuck Pointing 17 Minisink Avenue Port Jervis, Ny (Ny99-1) Capital Fund Program2022-2023 The project scope shall include, but not be limited to the following: 39 Pennsylvania Avenue, Port Jervis, New York: All labor, material and equipment to: 1. Remove existing roof shingles, underlayment and ice and water shield membrane. 2. Installation of new shingle, underlayment and ice and water shield membrane. 3. Tuck pointing existing brickwork 17 Minisink Avenue, Port Jervis, New York: All labor, material and equipment to: 1. Removal and replacement of existing brick where indicated on drawings. 2. Tuck pointing existing brickwork where indicated on drawings. II. UNIT PRICES: The Contractor shall provide in addition to their Base Bid, Unit Prices for the following work items: a) Tuck point brick mortar ($/s.f.) b) Clean existing gutters and leaders. ($/l.f.) c) Provide concrete splash blocks (each) d) Removal and replacement of alum flashing ($/l.f.) e) Removal and replacement of alum drip edge ($/l.f.) III. BID ALTERNATES: The Contractor shall provide, in addition to their base bid, a lump sum cost for the following bid alternates: a) Alternate No. 1 (Deduct): Omit the removal of existing roof shingles, shingle underlayment, and ice and water shield and install new roof shingles over existing roof shingles. b) Alternate No 2 (Add/Deduct): In lieu of GAF Royal Sovereign 25 year fiberglass reinforced roof shingles, provide and install GAF Timberline-HDZ 25 year fiberglass reinforced roof shingles. Contract Documents may be examined at the following locations: Port Jervis Housing Authority 39 Pennsylvania Avenue Port Jervis, New York 12771 (845) 856-8621 Cirillo Architects, P.C. 6 Courtland Street Middletown, New York 10940 (845) 344-1800 Bona fide general contract bidders may secure copies of the proposed Contract Documents starting on June 24, 2024between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. at the office of the Port Jervis Housing Authority located at 39 Pennsylvania Avenue, Port Jervis, New York 12771 (845) 856-8621. Contractors also have the option of providing a prepaid airbill from one (1) of the following delivery services: i.e. United Parcel Service (UPS), Federal Express, Airborne, etc. 4. Contractor may purchase additional sets from the Architect at their cost for reproduction of said Bid Documents. The following is the unit cost for reproduction: a. $.25 per 8-1/2 x 11 photo copy b. $3.50 per 24 x 36 blueprint 5. Refer to Section 01720 Project Record Documents for required sets and Building Permit Applications and Fee Schedules. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the base bid will be required to accompany all bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularity in the bids and the bidding Port Jervis Housing authority is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOP) *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
