In order to attend the site visit, your team must contact the POC to inform them of your intent to attend NLT 10:00 AM CST on Friday, 26 July 2024. If you do not contact the POC by 10:00 AM CST on Friday, 26 July 2024, you will not be able to attend the site visit. All RFIs must be submitted NLT 12:00 PM CST on Friday, 02 August 2024. Proposals are now due on Thursday, 08 August, 2024 at 4:45 PM CST. This requirement is to replace, modify, and upgrade mechanical and electrical equipment in B847. The intent of this project is to replace all mechanical and plumbing equipment in the mechanical room/yard, and its associated electrical components, except for the boiler and water heater. Perform all work according to this Statement of Work (SOW), the Concept Design Drawings, and all related AF requirements and other codes and references. The Government is offering a site visit opportunity on Tuesday, 09 July 2024 at 1:00 PM CST. The site visit is Highly Encouraged but not mandatory. Project Title: B847 Repair HVAC/Electrical Project Location: Columbus AFB Replace all mechanical/plumbing equipment in the mechanical room of B847, along with all associated electrical components, in its entirety, except for the boiler, water heater, and electrical panels/service. This includes replacement of the air handler, chiller, chilled water piping, heating water piping, insulation, chilled water pumps, heating water pumps, VFDs, switches, disconnects, expansion tanks, hydronic heater, chemical feeders, valves, sensors, gauges, and any other related components. The chiller must be a new Daikan chiller with integral controls compatible with JCI. This project also includes the replacement of the mechanical room doors and the installation of LED lights throughout the mechanical room. A full recommissioning and testing, adjusting, and balancing of the HVAC system will also be required. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
