The Housing Authority of the City of Atlanta, Georgia (AH) is seeking the services of a firm that is qualified and experienced in Historic Preservation & Cultural Resources Consulting, to provide technical assistance in regards to compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (36 CFR Part 800) for the development or rehabilitation efforts of various properties. Please note that AH reserves the right to (i) make amendments to this scope of work through written addenda, (ii) reject any or all responses, (iii) waive any irregularity or informality in a response, and (iv) award a contract based on any portion of the Respondent's proposal relevant to the scope of work when it is in AH's best interest to do so. It is also within the AH's right to reject responses that do not contain all elements and information requested in this Event. This determination will be made on a case-by-case basis. Atlanta Housing is seeking the services of a firm or team that is qualified and experienced in historic preservation & cultural resources consulting and architectural services to provide technical assistance regarding compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA; Public Law 89-665; 54 U.S.C. 300101 et seq.) or other applicable Federal, State, or local historic preservation regulations for the development efforts at various properties. Development efforts may include demolition of existing structures, rehabilitation or adaptive reuse of existing structures, and/or new construction. Respondents will be evaluated on their capacity and capability to respond to one or more of the requirements in Section 2.1 Scope of Work. AH may select one or more consultants to enter into a Master Services Agreement with the agency for up to 5 years. The vendor should have a broad range of qualifications related to historic preservation & cultural resources consulting. AH is seeking expertise in primarily 2 focus areas - Section 106 Consultation and Historic Architecture. Firms can respond to 1 or both focus areas. AH is also looking for firms with the ability to assist with historic tax credits and grants, but historic tax credit and grant experience is not mandatory. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
