CULVERT REPLACEMENT AND OTHER WORK Bridge File 85466, SW 36-50-25-W4M Carrying a Local Road Over A Tributary to Blackmud Creek, Nisku Work at this site includes the removal and disposal of the existing 2900 wide x 1000 mm high timber box culvert with a 23 m invert length and the installation of a new single barrel 2000 mm CSP culvert with a 30.0 m invert length square to the road. The crossing is located on Sparrow Drive over a Tributary to Blackmud Creek, Nisku. A location plan has been included in the Plans section of this document for the Contractors convenience. Without limiting the provisions of these Specifications and Contract, the Scope of Work at this site shall include the following: TSS Testing Water Management Traffic Accommodation for Bridge Construction Demolition and Disposal of Bridge Structure Excavation - Structural CSP Supply CSP Assembly Backfill Roadway Work Installation of Heavy Rock Riprap (Class 1) Supply and Installation of Erosion Control Barrier (Straw Fibre Roll) Fish Capture and Release (Deletable) Each bidder, in submitting a Tender, acknowledges that he has examined the site and the surrounding area; and is familiar with all conditions and /or restrictions that could affect or limit his operations due to such things as environmental constraints, public traffic, and property of others.
