*As of August 16, 2024 this project has been awarded to two contractors: Scott and Murphy awarded for Part 1 $239,445 and Scotty's Contracting for Part 2 $523,567.54 for overall total bid of $763,012.54.* The work consists of work required to construct Part 1 - Grade & Drain and Part 2 - Paving of the proposed Cul-De-Sac Road Extension in the Bluegrass Crossings Regional Business Centre in Ohio County. The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Forms of Bid Bond, Performance and Payment Bond, and other contract documents may be examined at the following. The contract documents may be reviewed at the following locations: MSE website. Ohio county economic development alliance's office, 300 cs-1014, Hartford, KY 42347 (270-298-4400) A certified check or bank draft, payable to Green River Regional Industrial Development Authority, government bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent of the bid shall be submitted with bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for the following: 1) 5% Bid Bond; and 2) A performance and payment bond for 100% of the contract price. The Owner may consider informal any bid not prepared and submitted in accordance with the provisions of this advertisement and/or the specifications and may waive any informalities or reject any and all Bids. Any proposal received after the time and date specified shall not be considered and will be returned unopened to the proposer. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Federal and State Wage Rates do not apply to this project. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid for a period of sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Award will be made to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. Bidding is for the sole benefit of the Green River Regional Industrial Authority. The Green River Regional Industrial Development Authority is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
