Site work for a municipal facility in Buffalo, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
The following items shall be included deliverables: 1. Written examination report of the work of art. 2. Pre-treatment photographs and documentation during project period (color and black and white). 3. A proposed scope of work for the completion of the treatment: a) Removal and cleaning of corrosion product. b) Repair of metal flaws, surface faults d) Correction of any structural problems e) Application of chemical patina f) Application of protective coating g) Cleaning of pedestal h) Treatment and preservation of stone elements i) Treatment and preservation of metal elements j) Scope as determined by visiting the site, coordination with the Buffalo Arts Commission, or other unforeseen conditions 4. Advice as to the need for removal, shipment, and remounting of bronze from pedestals. 5. Written guidelines for program of periodic maintenance specifying materials, supplies, and method.
