Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Note that the earliest construction start date for Contracts 1 and 2 shall be Tuesday, October 1, 2024. Landside work includes utility removals and installations (water and electric), removal and replacement of various hardscape items, site grading, HMA paving and striping, concrete abutment construction, and installation of miscellaneous site amenities. All work must reach substantial completion on or before April 1, 2025, and final completion by April 8, 2025. A certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, made payable to the Owner will be required with each bid as security for the proper execution of the contract. A 100% Labor, Material, and Performance Bond will be required of a successful bidder. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled opening without the consent of the Owner. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informality in bidding or to accept the bid, consistent with law, which best serves the interest of the Owner.
