Project information/scope of work: Raised Flooring System Peoria County is seeking bids for removal and replacement of a raised flooring system in the Booking and Releasing Office at the Peoria County Sheriffs Office located at 301 N. Maxwell Rd., Peoria, IL 61604. The office is approximately 21 x 55 which includes a 7 long x 5 wide accessible ramp. The project will consist of: Removal of existing raised flooring, including all understructure. Existing electrical to remain in place. Disposal of materials to be included in cost of work. Contractor must provide own dumpster. Peoria County will provide space on site for dumpster. Shipping, delivery and unloading of materials will be allowed in the jail sallyport which is adjacent to the Booking and Releasing Office. Installation of flooring shall meet the following specifications: Pedestal Assembly: New access flooring grid system which consists of pedestals and stringers Existing railing to be salvaged and repurposed if feasible. Install new S125 steel access flooring panels with ASM-2103 laminate finish or equivalent Install metal fascia to close off areas around ramp and step up Drill and install up to (10) grommets for electrical wires Install 4 vinyl cove base after flooring is installed Color to be determined with the Peoria County Sheriffs Office and selected contractor.
