As of July 30, 2025, a design firm has been selected. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. INTRODUCTION The City of Dover is seeking an engineering consultant to evaluate the existing system of roadside swales and culverts along Crosby Road Industrial Park and make recommendations for stormwater improvements. The evaluation of the watershed and drainage network is anticipated to include the various road and the CSX Railroad Bridge crossings based on a preliminary review of the USGS StreamStats website. The watershed that drains to the Knox Marsh Road crossing is approximately 487 acres. The selected consultant will be tasked with defining the location and characteristics of the greater watershed; the Crosby Road drainage system; accurately map, inventory and assess its physical characteristics and condition; conduct an assessment and evaluation of its existing and required hydraulic capacities and constraints; and make recommendations for rehabilitation or upgrade of the drainage system to provide for a properly functioning drainage system for the next 40-year service period. Any questions or inquiries must be submitted in writing, and, in order to be considered, must be received by the Purchasing Agent k.cragin@dover.nh.gov no later than seven (7) business days before the Request for Proposals due date and time. Any changes to the Request for Proposals will be provided to all Proposers of record. Insurance The successful vendor will be required to maintain and submit a certificate of insurance naming the City of Dover as additional insured for the duration of the project. Please see Attachment A for minimum limits and additional information. Bonds Required for Projects over $125,000.00. A Bid Bond equal to 5% of the bid price must accompany the bid. Payment and performance bonds equal to 100% of the project will be required from the winning vendor. Please see Attachment A for bonding and insurance requirements.
