Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Ashland, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a communication facility; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
All questions shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer by July 12, 2024 before the established date for bid opening A. The location, general characteristics and principal details of the work are indicated on the set of accompanying drawings, titled Town of Ashland, Massachusetts, Downtown Streetscape Improvements Phase 2 - Utility Conduits for Building Connection Project. The towns intent is to complete the utility work this year before December 2024. B. The successful bidder shall furnish all materials, labor, tools, and equipment, and perform all work required for the completion of this Contract. C. The word Owner as used herein shall mean the Town of Ashland, Massachusetts. The work under this contract consists of furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and services to install conduit from back of sidewalks to buildings for future transfer of electrical and communication utilities throughout the downtown related to Phase 2 of the Downtown Streetscape Improvement Project. The work includes excavation, conduit installation, backfilling, loam and seeding, replacement of existing cement concrete sidewalk panels, and incidental work as shown on the plans and as described herein.
