High Frequency Tower Antenna Installation The contractor shall provide installation services for the Federal Bureau of Investigation's (FBI) Operational Technology Division's (OTD) Radio Engineering Unit (REU) at an FBI location near Quantico Virginia. This is a contract to provide and install a 60 foot aluminium Antenna Products Tower with Antenna Products Model LPH-1A antenna, Hinge Base with Winch, Rotator, rotator control cabling and controller; including the foundation and grounding system. The contractor shall provide parts and services for the installation as depicted below. This is a non-personal services contract. The Government shall not exercise any supervision or control over contractor employees performing the services herin. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the Contractor who, in turn is responsible to the government. The objective of this contract is to procure services to install a new 60-foot communications tower. When the contractor provides installation, configuration, or integration services for equipment and software pursuant to this contract, the contractor shall not install, configure, or integrate the equipment and software in a way that reduces the level of conformance with the applicable Revised 508 Standards. The Contractor shall provide services to the foundation, and tie(s) to exiting site ground system as well as the installation of Log Period antenna, Hinge Base with Winch, rotator, coaxial cable connectors, coaxial cable, rotator control cable, and rotator controller. The 60 foot tower shall include professional Engineer certified tower profile and foundation drawings. The foundation of the new tower is to be constructed outside and adjacent to the existing fence and adjacent to an existing 55 foot Rohn tower. The Contractor shall create a trench with sand cushion, lay the coaxial and control cable, and apply another layer of sand cushion, followed by covering the trench with excavated material. Additional information will be found in the attached Statement of Work. The place of performance will be at FBI site near Quantico, Virginia, nearest Independent Hill, Virginia, located at 38-37-29.3N, 77-27-14W.
