Demolition, site work, paving, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Lebanon, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the addition of a municipal facility; for the demolition of a municipal facility; for the renovation of a municipal facility; for site work for a municipal facility; road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids, to evaluate bids and to accept any bid which, in its opinion, may be for the best interest of the owner. All bidders must be licensed Contractors as required by the Contractors Licensing Act of 1976, as currently amended. Bid security shall be in the form of a bid bond secured by a surety company and shall be in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid, including any additive alternates.” A. General Building Demolition: 1. Perform “wholesale” and “selective” demolition of buildings noted on the drawings to be demolished, including but not limited to items pertaining to site work such as sidewalks, pavement, curbs, structures, etc. a. Perform additional demolition (not specifically indicated on the drawings) as required to facilitate installation of new work 2. Perform demolition in phases as required by the Owner. 3. Perform demolition in such a manner and by such methods that will avoid and prevent: spread of dust and flying particles, hazards to persons and property, and loud or prolonged noise. Avoid interference with the operation of the facility. 4. Demolish masonry and concrete in small sections. 5. Remove all rubbish and debris resulting from demolition from the building daily as it accumulates. Remove from the site and premises and dispose of as each truck-load accumulates. 6. Clean work areas in the building daily after the rubbish and debris is removed. Keep walks and drives in a neat and clean condition, free from rubbish and debris. 7. Removed items or materials not reused in the new Work or claimed by the Owner shall become the property of the Contractor and shall be removed from the site and premises and disposed of by him. B. Interior Demolition 1. In interior renovation, do all demolition work required to remove concrete, masonry work, finishes, casework, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work, and other necessary incidental items in connection with work under the Contract. C. Roof Demolition: 1. Remove existing roofing system, gutters, and downspouts as required to facilitate new construction. That the Work included under the contract shall be completed within 365 calendar days Question Deadline 08/13/2024 at 4:30 PM CT
