Demolition, site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a transportation facility in Avon Park, Florida. Completed plans call for the demolition of a transportation facility; for site work for a transportation facility; for outdoor lighting for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
The Project consists of modifying and replacing airfield lighting components associated with the centerline lights, edge lights, guidance signage, regulators, and Precision Approach Path Indicator (PAPI) system. The improvements Project as outlined within the bid/contract documents and to be accepted by Space Florida include, but are not limited to: o demolition of runway threshold/end lights, PAPI system, and airfield lighting cable(s) o removal of centerline lights, edge lights, and guidance signs o installation of new PAPI system, guidance signs, centerline lights, cabling edge lights and regulators o erosion control, o conduct and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) flight check and perform associated communication and coordination; and, o miscellaneous electrical work, concrete and sodding
