The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to invite the interested parties to submit proposals for the supply and installation of the spillway gate control equipment at Clowhom Dam, located on Sunshine Coast, approximately thirty-two kilometers by air northwest of Sechelt, B.C. The work within this project includes refurbishment and upgrade of several key assets to improve reliability and public safety of the flow control equipment associated with the Clowhom Generating Station. This involves work at Clowhom Dam, on assets connected to the spillway operating gates (SPOGs), dam control room, and within the powerhouse. The work requires civil/structural, mechanical, electrical, protection, controls, and communications improvements. Potential proponents are requested to sign a non-disclosure agreement (RFP_18002_Confidentiality_Agreement.doc) and must be registered with BC Bid to obtain the RFP package.
