At a special meeting July 24, Fargo commissioners and members from the Fargo Airport Authority discussed some officials' desire to cut two mill levies, which amounts to $1.6 million, from the airport's funding to support the city's budget instead. The $11.2 million grant exceeds the Airport Authority's desire for $10 million in total grant funds. They still hope to receive another $88 million in federal dollars and $60 million from the state.
